"I don't have to take a step either way."

I can't walk up and down my stairs. It's 14 stairs from top to bottom, and by the time I get to the fourth one, I have to sit down on a stair and catch my breath. So I called and told them about my problem. The installer and another gentleman came and explained things to me.The installer told me that he has been doing the job for 27 years and he knew exactly what he has to do. He installed the straight stairlift and he never wasted one minute of time. He then tested the unit before he showed me how to use it. He also gave me his card and told me to give him a call if I have any problems.

The unit is serving its purpose, which is to take me from the bottom of the stairs all the way up to the top. Now I sit on the unit, press a button, and the lovely thing will go right up the 14th stair. Then I swivel it around and put my foot right on the doorframe of my door. Then, if I want to go down and see my kids, I do the same thing going down. I don't have to take a step either way.
